Our Mission

Community School of Davidson believes that every student can and will succeed in ways that reflect his or her own aptitudes and interests. Our mission is to use the principles of The Basic School to provide an optimal environment for learning in which:

Our Philosophy

We believe that every student can and will succeed in ways that reflect his or her own aptitudes and interests. Our students and their families come from a broad array of backgrounds, experiences, and access to resources. We come together as educators, parents, and learners who value the life of the mind, the vitality of the arts, and the importance of community.
