NC Department of Public Instruction – Accountability Services Division
The mission of the Accountability Services Division is to promote the academic achievement of all North Carolina public school students and to assist stakeholders in understanding and gauging this achievement against state and national standards. The major thrust of this mission is three-fold: the design and development of reliable and valid assessment instruments, the uniform implementation of and access to suitable assessment instruments for all students; and the provision of accurate and statistically appropriate reports. SAT Practice and Preparation
College Board offers a number of ways to prepare for the SAT. Visit the College Board website by clicking here. Once there, your student can subscribe to a daily SAT question, answer practice questions, even try his or her hand at a free practice test and much more. Unsure what your study plan should be? Yeah, there's an app for that too!
College Board also offers a number of study/preparation materials for a cost on this site as well. Once students have created an account and taken the PSAT, there is even more targeted help.
Hope this helps simplify the enigma (SAT word) that is the SAT!
